5 years after Buu was killed, Son Gokou wished that Majin Buu be brought back to life and sent to Earth cleansed of all evil. Gokou did this because he wanted someone strong that he could spar with. When Ubuu appeared on Earth, his appearance was totally different than when he was Majin Buu. He was now a poor black child and was very mannerly. Ubuu appears at the beginning of DBGT sparring in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Gokou. He also appears many times throughout the DBGT saga helping the Z fighters.
