Sworn to protect the eldest Namek from any harm, Nail is friendly yet isolated. We first see him when Kuririn and Gohan are searching for the Namekian Dragon Balls to wish their friends back from the dead. Nail, who is protecting one of the Dragon Balls (along with the eldest Namek), helps them out. Even though he is not the strongest fighter, Nail stalls Freeza for a considerable amount of time while Dende delivered the password to make the Namekian Dragon Balls work to Kuririn and Gohan. After he is badly beaten by Freeza, Piccolo comes along and fuses with him. He spends the rest of his days in Piccolo's body.
